Concealed Weapons

Some say that terrorists with nuclear weapons are not a matter of "if" but when, and that is enough to scare anyone. Perhaps you 'd like to learn more about just how serious is this. If so let me recommend a very good book for you to read: "The terrorists go nuclear?" By Brian Michael Jenkins, Prometheus Books (2008). Mr. Jenkins, who also works with the think tank RAND Corporation, so he 's damn pretty credible explains something that most people are not thinking about, and that is there is a huge difference between; Terror " nuclear and nuclear terrorism or nuclear terrorists. You see, there is not any?? No real nuclear terrorist for all we know today, that no terrorist organization has a nuclear weapon. But that surely change daily. One use of a terrorist organization nuclear weapon so once you buy one, well, this is also unknown, but it stands to reason that, especially if you could set one off in a major Western city or even Tel Aviv, Israel in the world. Now you can have nuclear terror even if a terrorist organization has no nuclear weapon, just the thought of that, or this group that demands covert weapons Mention someone carrying a concealed weapon sends shivers down from someone?? No folks' spines. Compare that to criminal activity and feel nobody should be allowed to participate in this activity. Only criminals are disguised as the uninformed. That 's what happens when you get your information from 6:00 news is very biased against legal ownership of the gun. " Ok so what are the facts? First criminals don 't obey any law that' s why they are criminals. A law against concealed weapons doesn 't faze those in the least. There is some kind of law in 48 states that allow concealed carry. Some are good while others are way too restrictive and allow only people with connections get a permit. Where there is a county sheriff has the authority to publish corruption may abound. Several states have this system and must be eliminated. Many states have issued a permit system that usually works pretty well. You go through a class and if you have a clean record the state is obliged to issue a permit. While it is a step in the right direction there needs to be some improvements. There is a patchwork of laws where you can carry in one state but not another. These laws are always changing and if you travel you would be well advised to check the updated info. The honor of some states allow other states and from someone?? n don 't. Isn' t that "ridiculed to cross a state line could turn it into a criminal even if it's unintentional? There is a tendency that some states are honoring more permits from other states and that is good so far. When the system came to publish about 20 years ago the gun that the flags were dire predictions of what would happen. They predicted that the streets would work red victims' blood. Every time I would a bender of defense would come and pull drivers in each other's crime would rise suddenly as the doomsayers. Mana an interesting thing happened. The crime went down in every state that adopted these laws. Hmmm! You say how is that possible "Don 't" guns cause crime? Like all aspects of the discussions of the flags of the weapon that you are also mockeries and not based on facts. It can fire on' the crime of the cause of t but the bad people can. Every time a published set state flags gun laws went against him stating his lame arguments. guess I never learn. Remember that one definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and is expecting different results. That statement that the police have some fear of permit holders if you stop for a traffic violation is complete absurdity. Boggles the mind that such a person would absurd 'course intelligent mouth s. Why a release from law-abiding citizen a cop who pulled them over for a traffic violation. A law-abiding citizen is a law-abiding citizen, whether they are carrying. When a government entity makes it hard or impossible for the lead law-abiding are telling you something. We don 't trust you with a gun even though you haven' t trusted any crime. That, my friends is the bottom! Feel that! "Ok so what is the ideal solution to the problem? Alaska and Vermont have the right solution. Any law-abiding citizen can carry without a permit. Horrors! You say. Doesn 't "that the crime gets worse? Of course not! If all 50 states have similar laws would have a safer society. After all the thugs don 't like to get a shot more then the rest of us. Studies have shown that criminals are more afraid of armed citizens, then the cops. Hmmm! How about training? Everyone should know the laws and when and when not to throw. There is nothing wrong with a requirement that you have to attend a class and upon completion get a card indicating that same and that should be the only requirement. You should be able to carry in any of the 50 states with the fear of harassment of any authority. After they do all the bad guys so why not level the playing field! have one, is enough to terrorize people. Mr. Jenkins suggested that nuclear terror is already embedded in our minds and after 911, it seems somewhat plausible, it is known by us and the terrorists. How a group like al - the Qaeda gets a nuclear weapon, Well what if Pakistan 'is known s the government failed or was overthrown him that Osama bin Laden' s al-Qaida came very close to getting a nuclear weapon in 1990. After the fall and the disintegration of Russia's most everyone was referred to all these scientists of Bio-Weapons selling their knowledge and expertise to the highest bidder. A nuclear landscape along those same lines is more than plausible and unfortunately all too true in the current period. Mr. Brian Michael Jenkins reminds us how far back the nuclear deterrent is an incentive far more convincing, he would be for a nation now use it as an offensive weapon. I recommend this book for anyone who cares about our national security, ports, borders or our war on terror. Think about it.
